Key Account Manager - Data Centres

Endeavour Energy is fast evolving from a traditional ‘poles and wires’ electricity distribution network to a ‘future network’ that uses innovative and sustainable technologies to provide safe, affordable and reliable electricity to 2.5 million people.  We’re also one of Australia’s fastest growing networks, connecting 20,000 new customers a year, including the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.

In this role you will be critical in our growth agenda as you build new and leverage existing partnership opportunities with key customers in the Data Centre sector.


Roles and responsibilities include:
 

  • Understand requirements and expectations of key customers and facilitate service offerings to deliver remarkable customer experience
  • Develop commercial opportunities right across the organisation and gain market share in a competitively and changing environment.
  • Provide strong commercial, stakeholder and thought leadership for growth and innovative approaches to electricity network solutions.
  • Identify internal capabilities gaps that need to be filled in order to successfully execute the strategy and provide recommendations to fill the gaps to achieve outcomes.
  • Be the go-to expert and stay up to date with the latest trends and a deep understanding of what other peers and competitors are doing in the area.

This role would suit someone with extensive experience managing significant key accounts along with a track record of identifying and forming partnerships to support new business development and improve customer experience delivery.


To be successful:
 

  • Proven ability to assimilate technologies into the customer’s business models
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work in ambiguous and less well-defined environments and timing.
  • Resourceful, solution driven. Identifying roadblocks and finding solutions without need for close supervision
  • Build good working relationships and partnerships with key internal stakeholders such as strategy, corporate development, network planning and connections, finance, and regulatory.
