Health & Safety Business Partner (Projects Contractor Management)

Endeavour Energy is one of Australia’s largest energy distributors supplying electricity to 2.4 million people in households and businesses across Sydney’s Greater West, the Blue Mountains, the Southern Highlands, the Illawarra and South Coast.

Reporting to the Manager, Health and Safety Strategic Programs, this role actively promotes culture change through contemporary leadership as well as provide solutions and expert advice to stakeholder’s on improvement initiatives, risk management and other activities within the business.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Delivery of strategic programs including safety culture and leadership, fatal risk management, contractor management, learning teams and incident investigation.
  • Co-ownership and development of the Contractor Management Framework including prequalification platform development, contractor audits, investigations and performance reviews.
  • Ownership of the Health and Safety Management System including improvements and enhancements.

To be successful:

  • Be an experienced tertiary and ICAM qualified Health and Safety professional
  • Understanding of Heath and Safety systems and procedures with a focus on contractor management.
  • Able to build and maintain positive relationships with Health and Safety, Operational and Corporate stakeholders.
