Asset Manager/Engineer

Based in Huntingwood, you will be responsible for responsible for the overall strategic asset management of Endeavour Energy’s Secondary Systems to meet the business’s objectives

Working with our most mission critical system on which the operational control of the network rests, you join a highly complex, multi-discipline team working across protection, voltage regulation, SCADA, load control and distribution automation.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain systems for asset data management, and oversee the provision of data analytics, and provide reporting capability and insights.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of strategic plans and programs, including Secondary Systems Asset Class Plans and Asset End of Life programs.
  • Manage the oversight of incident investigations and set and manage the implementation of corrective actions to ensure the ongoing performance management of assets.
  • Provide asset management leadership to the section including priority planning, staff development and mentoring; and contributing to the development of the overall vision and direction of the Secondary Systems section.

This role would suit either a current Asset Manager or an Asset Engineer looking to move into a leadership position with a background in Energy, Construction, Utilities or similar industries.

You will understand how data and analytics play a key role in the discovery and implementation of new and innovative safety, reliability and cost improvement initiatives.

To be successful:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or registered in New South Wales as a Professional Engineer in the specialisation Electrical Engineering.
  • Advanced asset management practices including quantitative risk assessment techniques and the use of asset management software systems.
  • Strong leadership, business, stakeholder and change management skills
  • Postgraduate studies in Asset Management, Risk Management, or Engineering and advantage.
