We come from diverse backgrounds, leading to a great variety of ideas and perspectives.
Diversity and inclusion makes us better, safer and stronger. We’re proud of our differences, and are committed to actively shaping our workplace into one where:
everyone feels safe, motivated, valued, included and respected
we recognise and celebrate differences and give a voice to all diversity groups
there is fair access to employment, professional development and workplace participation
everyone is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity, diversity and inclusion
Women in energy
We seek to create a workplace where both women and men feel empowered to achieve their full potential. To achieve this, we are promoting job opportunities for women in non-traditional roles and building diversity across our workforce.
In an industry first, women made up half of our 2018 Apprentice intake, following a highly competitive selection process.
We’re so proud of Karyn Downs, recipient of the 2019 Woman in a non traditional Trade or Vocation Award at the 2019 NSW Training Awards. Karen graduated from our Apprenticeship program to a line worker cable jointer role. Her success reflects Endeavour Energy’s commitment to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, where talent is nurtured and achievement is celebrated.

Celebrating our diversity
Throughout the year we hold events to celebrate our diversity, including Diwali. The Festival of Light is the most widespread festival of people from the Indian sub-continent, and has been a popular feature in our diversity program for 10 years running. A great way to encourage all our people to be the change in the world they want to see.
